Craftsmanship and Quiet Luxury at Hideaway Round Top - Hand Engraved Bandana Sliders

There are places that invite you to slow down the moment you arrive. Hideaway Round Top is one of them.

Set on acres of open land and framed by native Texas landscape, the Hideaway feels calm, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in its surroundings. I was invited to be part of an intimate press preview celebrating the property — a gathering centered on intention, connection, and craftsmanship rather than spectacle.

For the experience, I engraved handmade bandana sliders for each guest. The process was intentionally simple: no large machinery, no mass production, just slow, hands-on engraving done on site. Each piece was personalized one at a time, allowing guests to witness the work as it happened and leave with something made specifically for them.

Live engraving doesn’t always need to be loud or fast to be impactful. In settings like this, it becomes a quiet extension of the environment — tactile, personal, and human. Every bandana slider became a keepsake, reflecting the same care and restraint that defined the space itself.

The afternoon was beautifully brought together by Cassie LaMere Events, with thoughtful details throughout — from the seasonal menu by Uchi to florals by Serra Cinna.

This was Texas luxury at its most honest: intentional, grounded, and quietly memorable.
